We are inviting everyone to step back in with us on Saturday 8th December 2018! The doors re-open to the public for the first time at 9.30am and we’ve a family friendly day of free performances and activities for all planned. There are two opportunities to join us to sing in the auditorium on opening day. At 10am Travis frontman Fran Healy, will lead the 100 strong Music Hall Community Choir in a performance of the iconic song ‘Sing’. You are all invited to join us and join in this special moment. At 3.30pm the grand finale of the day will be a Big Sing and we’d love you to gather in the auditorium with us and help us raise the roof with traditional carols and Christmas songs. In the lead up to opening day we’d like to invite you and members of your group to take part in an open rehearsal on Sunday 18th November from 2pm-4pm in the Lemon Tree, 5 West North Street, Aberdeen, AB24 5AT during which we will run through the repertoire for the Big Sing and share more information about the big day! The workshop will be led by Music Development Coordinator, Kirsty Robertson, and will cover traditional carols, Christmas songs and Scottish folk music. We’d love to welcome choir members, friends and family to the workshop and help us give voice to the building’s new future. We would really appreciate if you could circulate this information amongst your choir. There are limited spaces available for this workshop and places will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. For more information and to reserve your space please contact firstname.lastname@example.org We look forward to seeing you there. Best wishes, Kate Reply Submit a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published. Required fields are marked *Comment Name * Email * Website Notify me of new posts by email.
